Turkey Bolognese


2 TBLSPS Olive Oil
1 tsp Red Pepper flakes
1 lb ground Turkey breast
1 Onion, chopped
8 oz Mushrooms, chopped
4 cloves Garlic, minced
1 32 oz jar of Marinara sauce
1 handful fresh basil, sliced
Salt and Pepper to taste

Heat the olive oil in a large sauce pan over medium heat.

Add the red pepper flakes, ground turkey, onion, mushrooms and garlic and cook, strirring often, until the onions are softened.

Stir in the marinara, lower the heat to a slow simmer and let cook for at least 30 minutes.

Salt and pepper to taste, stir in fresh basil and serve with pasta.
